Amontá Jones makes his long awaited return to the music scene with his latest EP release titled “OTW.” Here with his first release of 2022, Amontá delivers three brand new exciting fine tuned tracks all produced by frequent collaborator Ghost V. This project has been 5 months in the making and with a run time of 8 minutes, Amonta is able to leave a bold impression on listeners while giving them a taste of his confident rapping as well as showcasing his melodic capabilities.

The opening track “No Strings” flexes Amontá’s seamless sounding rap abilities along with his signature fun energetic party vibe. The second track “Top Down” really puts his versatility on display and shows off his all around abilities through the wavy and loose delivery of this track. Finally, the last track on the project titled “From Arkansas”, is a sentimental introspective song with amazing atmospheric production from Ghost V. At the end of this track there are encouraging messages from each of Amontá’s family members, which is a very fitting way to round off the project. Overall this project is very well thought out from the transitions between songs to the black and white aesthetic used in the roll out for this EP. It is clear that a great attention to detail was put into the creation of this follow up to his last EP titled “IDK” and shows great promise for any upcoming projects we may see in the future.
