I love the fun energy and dynamic sounds that Belaganas always deliver and on this new cut “Vacation” they came through with some vibes I never knew I needed until I listened to this song.

This latest release feels like a refined combination of their last single “Jaywalkin” and the release they delivered before that one, which was a 3 song EP titled “Softy”. The first verse is melodic towards the beginning but flows into more of a rap style delivery towards the end, and in the second verse they keep the variation going by having more melodic style vocals, but this time the autotune is cranked all which goes well with the fast paced bars during this part of the song.

I don't know if this was part of the intention behind the song, but the melody in the hook gives me this on edge feeling or maybe even a somewhat spooky type of vibe that I really love and think adds a cool dynamic to the song as well.

The subject matter of the song is really relatable as well, because everyone has that feeling of longing for a vacation when feeling, “past expiration”, which is a line the song uses in the hook to describe the feeling of feeling burnt out and just tired of repeating the same old routine with people.
