At long long last! Zac Greer has shared with us a new exciting track titled “ I wish I never met you”, which is his first single back in the spotlight since dropping the “When Things Were Fine” - EP  back in October of 2021. 

Zac Greer has shown to have such a dedicated fan base which is clear based off of the retained listenership during the entirety of time he took off to focus on creating more music. He actually has remained fairly active on TikTok during the last few months and the platform has contributed greatly to him gaining new fans as well as allowing him to display his skills as a musician through the covers and original music he performs on there. All this being said It is great to see an official release after almost a year since his last release 

What this new track presents is Zac Greer delivering an amazingly refined and powerful vocal performance that is mixed and mastered beautifly which compliments every layer of the song. One of my favorite moments in the song is the high pitch vocal change that Zac hits when singing the lyrics, “Baby I just miss the way it was”. The way it sounds is so satisfying and it just shows how dynamic the range he has when singing is.  When the drums come in during the hook everything comes alive and the groove really kicks in. The vocal stutters along with the way that vocals are layered and mixed definitely display traits of the always growing genre that is hyperpop, but it is done in a way that is unique to Zac’s sound. This track is something I could definitely hear on the radio just based on the sound and feel of the song.

Zac teased the possible name for his next upcoming project being titled “For the hell of it” so I am pretty excited for the roll out of whatever he has in store for listeners. Go check out this latest single from Zac Greer linked below.
